Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AIDungeonMaster.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

AIDungeonMaster.ai is an AI-powered Dungeon Master platform for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition campaigns. The Service allows players to experience D&D campaigns with an AI Dungeon Master, and provides a marketplace where creators can publish and sell campaign templates for others to play.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.

4. Creator Marketplace

Creators may publish campaign templates to the AIDungeonMaster.ai marketplace. Creators retain ownership of the original content they create and grant AIDungeonMaster.ai a license to distribute and display that content through the platform.

Creators receive 70% of the net revenue from sales of their campaign templates. AIDungeonMaster.ai retains 30% as a platform fee. Payout terms and schedules will be specified in the Creator Agreement provided at the time of enrollment.

Creators are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights and complies with our content guidelines.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate game narratives, character responses, and other in-game content. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or unexpected outputs.

AIDungeonMaster.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. AI outputs do not represent the views or opinions of AIDungeonMaster.ai.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Distribute content that is hateful, threatening, or promotes violence
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in an unauthorized manner
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Service to generate content that exploits or harms minors

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is the property of AIDungeonMaster.ai and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content you create using the Service (such as campaign templates or character backstories) remains yours. By submitting content to the marketplace, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform.

Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast. AIDungeonMaster.ai is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

8. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis at the interval you select (monthly or annually). You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds for subscription payments may be issued at our discretion. Marketplace purchases of campaign templates are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIDungeonMaster.ai and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
